Partner AI Assistant — Adoption Growth Metrics
Metrics to add to the dashboard to track and drive Partner AI tool adoption across the partner program.
Partner Activation Funnel
Track the full journey: Partner Portal Login → AI Tool Discovery → First Interaction → 5+ Interactions → Regular User (monthly). Currently we only see end-state totals. A funnel view would reveal exactly where partners drop off and where enablement should focus.
Retention & Churn Cohorts
Monthly cohort analysis: of users who started in Oct 2025, how many returned in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb? Track 30/60/90-day retention rates by geo and partner level. This reveals whether the tool creates lasting habits or one-time curiosity.
New User Acquisition by Month & Geo
Track first-time users per month segmented by geo. Currently we see total unique users but not the growth rate of new user onboarding. This metric shows whether awareness campaigns and enablement are translating into new adoption.
Partner Penetration Rate by Tier
What percentage of total registered partners at each tier are using the AI tool? We know 482 accounts are active, but how many total Diamond/Gold/Authorized partners exist? Penetration rate = AI users / total partners in tier. Target: >50% for Diamond, >30% for Gold.
Topic & Use-Case Analytics
Categorize AI conversations by topic: competitive positioning, product specs, pricing/licensing, deployment guides, troubleshooting, RFP support. Understanding what partners ask about most reveals content investment priorities and unmet needs.
AI Response Quality & Satisfaction
Add a thumbs-up/down rating after each AI response. Track satisfaction rate, negative-feedback topics, and unanswered question rate. Low satisfaction on specific topics flags content gaps; high satisfaction topics confirm value.
AI Assistant — Geo Adoption Growth Metrics
Metrics to add to the dashboard to grow AI Assistant adoption across Extreme Networks geos (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
Geo Activation Rate vs Total Addressable Base
For each geo, calculate: AI active users / total portal-registered users. Current engagement rates (18-23%) tell part of the story, but we need to know the size of the unactivated pool per region and sub-region to prioritize outreach.
Monthly Active Users (MAU) Trend by Geo
Track monthly active users per geo as a time series. Currently we have cumulative totals but not the month-over-month trajectory. A rising MAU curve confirms sustained adoption; a flattening curve signals saturation or churn.
Localization Coverage & Impact
Track which languages the AI assistant supports and correlate with regional adoption. Japan’s low engagement (12.5 avg) may stem from English-only content. Map language support to regional user counts and identify gaps: Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, German, French.
Enablement Campaign Tracker
Link regional enablement activities (webinars, email campaigns, training sessions, Slack announcements) to adoption spikes. Did a DACH webinar in January drive a user increase in February? Without this correlation, enablement ROI is unmeasurable.
Regional Champion Leaderboard
Identify and celebrate top AI users per region as internal champions. Show a dynamic leaderboard by sub-region with monthly interaction counts, badges (Bronze/Silver/Gold), and a “champion score.” Social proof and friendly competition drive organic adoption.
Time-to-First-Value by Geo
Measure how many days from portal registration to first AI interaction per geo. If Americas partners activate in 3 days but APAC takes 14, it signals onboarding friction or awareness gaps in specific regions. Target: <7 days globally.
Business Impact Correlation — Proving AI ROI
Metrics that connect AI tool usage to pipeline and revenue outcomes — critical for justifying continued investment.
Deal Registration Correlation
Do partners who use the AI tool register more deals? Compare deal registration volume and win rates for AI-active partners vs non-active partners in the same tier. If AI users register 2x more deals, that's a compelling adoption argument.
Win Rate Impact Analysis
Track competitive win rates for deals where the partner used the AI assistant vs deals where they didn’t. Segment by competitor (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Meraki). If AI-assisted deals show a 10-15% higher win rate, that’s the strongest possible adoption driver.
Time-to-Quote Reduction
Measure whether AI assistant users produce quotes and proposals faster. Track average days from opportunity creation to first quote for AI-active vs non-active partners. Speed-to-quote is a competitive advantage that directly impacts pipeline velocity.
Content Gap & Failure Rate Dashboard
Track AI responses that received negative feedback, “I don’t know” answers, or follow-up clarification requests. Categorize by topic. A persistent 15% failure rate on pricing questions, for example, signals a specific content investment that would immediately improve satisfaction and adoption.
